The Sixth Gun’s Cold Dead Fingers Warm Danni’s Heart

Rebecca Montcrief by Brian Hurtt

“The Sixth Gun” features zombies, golems, Elizabeth Bathory wannabees, magic guns, and more. It also just happens to make Danni feel warm and cozy in its awesomeness.

Some exciting news coming out last week is that NBC has ordered a pilot of Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt’s comics, “The Sixth Gun.” It’s a great mashup of westerns, urban (well, as urban as you can get in the 1800’s) fantasy, and horror. It’s also been on Danni’s pull list for quite a while.

Cullen and Brian also hold a special place in Danni’s heart with her signed copy of their other team-up, “The Damned.” If you haven’t heard that story, check out her earlier review of “The Damned” on our YouTube Channel.

We’re all super excited to see how the pilot turns out and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for a season pick up from NBC. There’s never enough horror/fantasy on TV. Until then, we thought we’d share with you Danni’s thoughts about the first trade paperback in the series, “Cold Dead Fingers.”
